PRP/PRF Undereye and Facial Rejuvenation

Self-Powered. Science-Driven. Serious Skin Repair

Your skin already knows how to heal, smooth, and renew—it just needs the right signal. At Bare Aesthetic in Bergen County, we use PRP and PRF to deliver the memo. Whether you’re dealing with dark circles, under-eye hollows, acne scars, or general dullness, PRP and PRF help turn back the clock and turn up your glow—using nothing but your body’s own healing powers.

About PRP + PRF

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are regenerative treatments made from your own blood—no additives, just concentrated healing power. Packed with growth factors, they jumpstart collagen, accelerate repair, and restore your skin’s natural glow.

How it works: We draw a small sample of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge to separate out the most potent, healing components. That golden serum is then either injected or applied during microneedling (yep, the “Vampire Facial”) to help your skin rebuild itself.

Not sure which method is right for you? Injections are great for targeted concerns like volume loss or under-eye hollows, while microneedling works best for overall tone, texture, and radiance. During your consultation, we’ll guide you toward the best approach based on your skin goals.

PRP vs. PRF: What’s the Difference?

Both PRP and PRF use your body’s natural healing components—but the way they’re processed and delivered can make a difference in how your skin responds.

What’s inside:
PRP contains concentrated platelets in plasma, rich in growth factors that support collagen and skin repair. PRF builds on this by preserving white blood cells and a fibrin matrix to hold and gradually release those growth factors.

Release & results:
PRP is spun at higher speeds for faster separation and quicker results. PRF is carefully processed without anticoagulants, allowing growth factors to release slowly over time for extended rejuvenation and sustained results.

Treatment goals:
PRP is perfect for a quick and powerful collagen boost, improving skin tone, texture, and overall radiance. PRF is often preferred for deeper regeneration, where more volume is needed, and for long-lasting, layered skin rejuvenation.

Benefits

  • 100% Regeneration, Zero Replacement: No synthetics. No artificial ingredients. Just your body’s own regenerative power doing what it’s supposed to do.
  • 89% More Bounce, Backed by Science: Clinical trials show PRP can boost dermal collagen by up to 89%, helping your skin rebuild structure and radiance naturally.
  • Top Preferred Treatment, Backed by the Buzz: PRP and PRF injections are ranked 90% “Worth It” on RealSelf, while the Vampire Facial (PRP with microneedling) earns a flawless 100%. That’s not hype—it’s happy skin.
  • Brightens + Boosts Naturally: Perfect for skin that’s lost its bounce, clarity, or color. PRP/PRF improves tone, texture, and resilience.
  • Minimal Downtime: Just a few days of mild redness and swelling—nothing that’ll stop you from going about your day.
  • Long-Game Results: PRP and PRF aren’t quick fixes—they’re long-term upgrades. With just a few treatments, you can see improvements in firmness, texture, and glow that can last up to 12–18 months.

Common Questions

Which is better, PRP or PRF?
It depends on your goals. If you’re looking for quicker results to improve tone, clarity, and surface texture, PRP may be the better fit. But if you want longer-lasting results with added support in delicate areas like the under-eyes, PRF is the way to go. It works more gradually but helps with deeper wrinkles and adds subtle volume over time.
Because PRP and PRF are made from your own blood, there’s virtually no risk of allergic reaction. Minor swelling, redness, or tenderness can occur at the injection sites, but these effects are usually mild and temporary.
You’ll be numbed beforehand, so most people say it’s more “weird” than painful, especially if you’re doing microneedling. Injections are quick and tolerable.
You may start noticing improvements within 1–2 weeks after PRP and 2–4 weeks after PRF. Full results build with each session and continue improving for several months.

Most clients do well with 3–4 sessions spaced about a month apart. Because PRF delivers growth factors over time, you may need fewer maintenance sessions down the road—just a yearly refresh can keep your results going strong.

Minimal. You might experience some redness, swelling, or tenderness for a day or two. If microneedling is involved, allow 1–3 days for any flaking or dryness to subside. We’ll provide full aftercare instructions to maximize results and minimize irritation.

To get the most out of your treatment:

  • Use a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water.
  • Avoid makeup for 24 hours post-treatment.
  • Wear SPF 30+ daily.
  • Skip hot showers, saunas, and alcohol for a few days.
  • Avoid smoking and other treatments for at least 2 weeks.
