How long do the results last?
Dermal filler results are long-lasting but not permanent, typically lasting anywhere from six months to two years. Their duration depends on several factors, including the patient’s age, the treated area, the type and amount of filler used, and lifestyle.
Are there any side effects after dermal filler treatment?
The most commonly reported side effects include temporary redness, swelling, pain or tenderness, firmness, lumps or bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration at the injection site. These effects are generally mild to moderate and typically resolve within seven days.
How often should I get fillers?
Dermal fillers are great for anyone looking to restore the smooth and youthful shape of their face. Although some last for two years, others need to be repeated every 4-6 months for best effects. If you’re having several areas of the face treated, you might have to visit us more often.
Are there any reasons why I should not receive any JUVÉDERM® injectable gel formulation?
Do not use these products if you have a history of multiple severe allergies or severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the Gram-positive bacterial proteins used in these products.
