Sculptra® is a collagen stimulator. It does not fill a line; it prompts your skin to build its own collagen, so the change arrives gradually over three to six months and keeps improving. Started now, most patients notice the early change by Thanksgiving and the fuller result by New Year’s. Each session is two vials, and two sessions is typical.

You buy your Botox®, Dysport® or Xeomin® units up front at a lower rate, and we hold them in your account until you want them. List price is $15 a unit. Banked, you pay $12 or $10 a unit — up to $1,400 off a single purchase. You pick your product at each visit and you can switch between them. Banking is a benefit of The Bare Standard.

Most patients treating the upper face — 11’s, forehead and crow’s feet — use about 55 units a visit, and come in two or three times a year. That puts a typical year somewhere between 110 and 165 units. Adding the lower face, chin or neck can take a single visit up to 100 units.

At that rate a 75-unit bank covers roughly five to eight months, a 100-unit bank roughly seven to eleven months, and the 220-unit bank — 240 units with your free ones — roughly seventeen months to a little over two years. Your units never lose value and they roll over, so buying a size up is never wasted.

They do three different jobs. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator — it rebuilds structure and firmness from within, gradually. Thermage uses radiofrequency to tighten and lift — no needles, no downtime, and it builds collagen under the surface. Fraxel Dual is a resurfacing laser for sun damage, tone and fine lines. Many patients combine them over a year, and we will map that out with you.

Thermage has essentially none. Fraxel Dual is the most involved — most patients have about three days of social downtime. Microneedling usually means two to three days of redness. Sculptra can leave some swelling or bruising for a few days. We will tell you exactly what to expect before you book, not after.

Now. Anything collagen-based — Sculptra, Thermage, microneedling — needs time to show, and a series needs the treatments spaced several weeks apart. For tox, book by November 12 for Thanksgiving, December 10 for Christmas Eve and December 17 for New Year’s Eve.
